PERC to Host Presentation on Post-pandemic Risk on Thursday

Summary: As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, how has it changed what we think about risk? On Thursday, November 11, Dr. Allison Schrager will present "Resassessing Risk in a Post-pandemic World."

Faculty, staff, students and the community are invited to attend the free presentation that will be held at the Liberal Arts and Sciences Building (LASB) at 5:30 p.m.
 
Dr. Schrager is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and a City Journal  contributing editor. Her research focuses on public finance, pensions, labor markets, and tax and monetary policy. She has been a regular contributor for the Economist, Reuters, and Bloomberg Businessweek and has been published in Wired, National Review, Foreign Affairs and City Journal.

Dr. Schrager received her undergraduate degree from the University of Edinburgh and a Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University. She is a co-founder of LifeCycle Finance Partners, LLC, a risk advisory firm, and is the author of the book An Economist Walks Into a Brothel.
