May 20, 2019

May’s edition of the College Station-Bryan Economic Indicators was published on Monday, May 20, 2019 by the Private Enterprise Research Center and the Brazos Valley Economic Development Corporation.

The report indicates that the local Business Cycle Index declined for the third consecutive month. Real taxable sales also declined by 0.3%, although Non-farm employment increased by the same amount. This month’s special focus delves into the year-over-year population changes in Bryan-College Station.

Last month, the special focus featured property and sales taxes in the BCS area. Both reports were featured in articles published by The Eagle Newspaper.
