June's Economic Indicators Is Now Available

Summary: June’s edition of Economic Indicators was published on Monday, June 22, 2020. This month, the report continues to highlight how the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent shelter-in-place orders have affected our state and local economies.
Economic Indicators of the College Station-Bryan MSA is a monthly report produced by the Private Enterprise Research Center that provides a snapshot of the health of the local economy using local nonfarm employment and unemployment data, aggregate wages, and local taxable sales data.
The latest report also shows initial unemployment claims over the last 14 weeks for College Station-Bryan, Texas and the nation; how College Station-Bryan’s unemployment ranks against other Texas metro areas; the number of approved drilling permits in Texas and locally; as well as national airplane throughputs and enplanements at Easterwood Airport.
